Medically endorsed by CAA and APA
While the majority of our bags are designed with back care in mind, our ChiroPak is the only backpack endorsed for spinal health by the Chiropractors Association of Australia, and our PhysioPak is the only backpack likewise endorsed by the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Both professional bodies are world renowned and require the highest standards for endorsement, which we are proud to have achieved.
Tufflite
Our signature fabric, designed and manufactured exclusively for Marathon and Spartan (our sister company based in Australia). It is a custom woven nylon backed with polyurethane (PU). Tufflite, just like our previous bag fabric, meets strict EU Reach standards. The PU backing replaces our previous PVC (non-phthalate) lining on Performance bags.
Independent laboratory testing proves that Tufflite resists abrasion, piercing and tearing more than our previous performance fabrics, yet it allows us to make our bags up to 22% lighter while also staying water resistant!
High quality materials
Our buckles are made from high quality, hard-wearing plastic designed with the correct balance of tension which will bend rather than snap. Our zips are designed with super strength nylon thread for durability and are self-repairing and reversed on most products, helping keep out water and ensuring that they can be easily realigned if broken by simply unzipping and rezipping. Pipings are made with soft, supple PVC to avoid cracking, with widened flange to ensure construction quality when sewing into the bags. Double Taped Seams
Internal seams are covered with hem tape which keeps them stronger, tidier and reduces the risk of catching, snapping and thread breakages, which also aiding with water resistance.
Anchor Stitching
Standard ‘X’ stitching at joints is overstitched with anchored joints, ensuring extra strength and reduced risk of tearing component joins, making your bags last longer.
